Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the SaveSavvy app and services, provided by K2026392082 (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd, trading as "SaveSavvy" (reg. no. 2026/392082/07), 17 Arthurs Road, Sea Point, Cape Town, Western Cape, 8005 ("we", "us"). By using SaveSavvy you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
SaveSavvy helps you import bank and investment statements, categorise transactions, and view budgets and spending insights. To do this, statement text is processed by a third-party AI provider (see the Privacy Policy).
2. Beta
SaveSavvy is currently in beta and provided free of charge. It is offered "as is", may contain errors, and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice. We may impose or change usage limits.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18. You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information.
4. Not financial advice
SaveSavvy is an informational tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Automated parsing and categorisation can be inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying your data before relying on it. Decisions you make using SaveSavvy are your own.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the statements and data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service. You warrant that you are entitled to submit any statement you upload or forward.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: upload data you have no right to; attempt to access other users' data; probe, scan, or disrupt the service; reverse engineer it; or use it unlawfully.
7. Availability
We aim for reasonable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and are not liable for downtime, data-import failures, or parsing errors.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service or other users.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on data in the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Western Cape High Court, Cape Town.
